If you’re thinking of getting a video monitor system for your home, you may want to consider the new Kodak Video Monitors. Check out the details below.

Today’s home WiFi cameras suffer from a major annoyance: a flood of false alarms created by ceiling fans, lighting changes and other harmless movement. New KODAK V-Series Video Monitors solve the problem with industry-first Smart Detection that eliminates up to 70% to 98% of false alarms and associated incident notifications. It’s a major advance that saves time otherwise wasted in checking surveillance video to determine whether a given alert was triggered by an HVAC system rustling the drapes or a burglar ransacking the house.

Kodak Video Monitor CFH-V10

New KODAK V-Series Video Monitors come with the industry-first Smart Detection that eliminates up to 70% to 98% of false alarms and associated incident notifications.

Developed by KODAK licensee Tend, which also created the award-winning KODAK Baby Monitoring System, the new KODAK CFH-V10 ) and CFH-V15 Video Monitors enable users to keep an eye on any room or door as well as pets, babysitters, elderly relatives and even small offices or businesses in real time via smartphone, tablet or computer. Both models include unlimited live HD streaming video, two-way audio talkback, automatic night vision, and free 1-Day Cloud Storage enabling users to review all recorded motion-triggered video clips from the past 24 hours. The CFH-V15 adds the ability to pan 350° left and right and tilt 105° up and down for a broader field of view.

Smart Detection

A first-of-its-kind Smart Detection option, available at $2.99/month per video monitor, features at its core the ART™ human presence detection from UK-based Apical Ltd. to intelligently analyze in near real time all video recorded by the KODAK V-Series Video Monitors and differentiate normal ambient activity from potential threats. Users who choose this option can configure the system’s free iSecurity+ app to filter alerts either by:

Activity – to report moving objects ranging from a rolling ball to the family dog, a vehicle in the driveway, a person at the front door, or individuals inside the house.
People – to report only human movement inside or outside the premises, from package delivery to caregivers, intruders or unauthorized teenage parties.
The Activity filter reduces false alarms by up to 70% while the People filter reduces notifications by up to 98%, avoiding overloading users with nuisance alerts and enabling them to focus on recorded activity of potentially greatest concern.

14- & 30-Day Cloud Storage Options

The new KODAK V-Series Video Monitors also give users the option to retain surveillance video longer than the 1-Day Cloud Storage included free with every system. Both the 14-Day Cloud Storage plan ($9.99/month per video monitor) and 30-Day Cloud Storage plan ($19.99/month per video monitor) include Smart Detection, 1000 favorites, and the ability to view motion-triggered video clips for a longer period of time to adjust for busy schedules or enable repeated viewing of specific incidents.

Both the KODAK CFH-V10 and CFH-V15 Video Monitors are available immediately on Amazon. For more information, visit connectedfamilyhome.com or click here.
