I’m crazy about PC and video console games. Which is why every Friday, I want to come out with Gaming articles. The reason? It’s Friday, the last day of the working week and the weekend begins. It’s time to unwind and blow off some steam.
But instead of going out for parties, binge drinking, I would rather sit my butt down on a comfy couch and play video games at home.
But PC and video games do cost money so I always look for discounts. We mentioned Steam before when we featured the Humble Bundle story.
Store.Steampowered.com or Steam is an online game site where you can buy new and old PC games at great discounts.
Instead of paying Thousands of your hard earned pesos to buy games, you can get them at hundreds of pesos only, even for less than a hundred.
As of today, I got 53 full PC games on my Steam Games Library. I got awesome titles like Tomb Raider, XCom, Civilization 5, LA Noire, Max Payne 3, Assassin’s Creed III and IV. I also got Fall out Games, Skyrim, Deus Ex, Dead Space, Borderlands 2, Bioshock Infinite. We got awesome action games like Batman: Arkham Asylum, Alan Wake and more.

And do you know how much I spent on getting these games? Less than P5000. That doesn’t even include the 30+ games that I got from Humble Bundle.
If I bought all these games new, I’d get saddled with a huge credit card debt or get mugged by my girlfriend for buying too much.
Yeah, I know that a lot of the games are old. These are great games that I couldn’t get at the time because I couldn’t afford them. But I still want them so I’ll wait for it to go on sale at Steam . It’s a great way to play games without sending you to credit card debt. Or getting mugged. By your girlfriend. Or Wife. or Boyfriend.
The only thing that you have to worry about is the amount of games that you can download using your Broadband Internet plan.

Games released late last year will be available for a few hundred pesos and you can get new ones with huge discounts.
