We love computers in small form factors.  They’re easy to tote around and easy to connect to a monitor or HDMI  TV.

We’ve featured a number of small computers that you can hook up to your TV and here’s another one: Remix Mini.

Though not as small as the Intel ComputeStick, you can still hold the Remix PC with one hand.

Check out the video below:

This tiny PC has the Remix OS, based on Android OS but the makers made some modifications to it.  You can use a taskbar,  multi-task, open multiple windows,   plus it has mouse and keyboard support.

What’s cool about it is that it’s powered by a 64-bit chipset.  It will supposedly deliver 20-30% better performance than its 32-bit counterparts.

And since it’s an Android OS, you won’t have to worry about making applications work.  There are Android versions of productivity suites, editing software and more.

The Remix Mini comes packed with everything you need to stay connected:  Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth, and USB.

The Remix Mini comes in two versions: 1 G RAM with 8 GB of storage and the 2 GB RAM with 16 GB of storage.

For an Android phone,  it’s packing some serious processing power.

And to turn it on, you only need to tap it.  Awesome.

But is it enough as a computer?  So it works just like a computer, but can it handle entertainment?

If you’re thinking about it, well,  there’s a 2GB RAM version with 16GB storage. It’ll be enough to stream movies or watch Youtube videos just like what you can do on your Android smart phone.

And as for games, well, there’s a ton of Android games so we think that you’re going to be pretty satisfied with Remix Mini on the gaming side.

Just don’t expect it to run Call of Duty Black Ops III.

Unless there’s a version of it on Google Playstore. Which we think is pretty awesome if they have one. Just saying.

The Remix Mini is available on Kickstarter and you can order one for just US$30. But it’ll available this October .  They can ship anywhere including  to the Philippines and it will cost you a total of US45. Pretty good  price for a small computer.
