Even though we’re going through a pandemic, it doesn’t mean that you can’t go out and go on vacations. But you might want to maximize your time and the experience. Take as many photos and videos, and if you a truly immersive experience, get a 360-degree camera. Better yet, get a Ricoh Theta Z1.

The RICOH THETA Z1 51GB is the latest model to be added to the RICOH family of advanced 360-degree cameras. RICOH made some improvements on its high-end model, increasing its internal storage capacity to 51GB and capture 23-megapixels resolution (6720 x 3360 pixels) 360-degree still images.

RICOH THETA Z1 51GB.

Three hundred sixty (360) degree videos and photos are way more interactive and exciting to view. The Ricoh Theta Z1 has a 1.0-inch back-illuminated CMOS image sensor. It has many shooting modes, such as aperture priority, allowing users to take high-quality images regardless of the setting. Take videos and photos outdoors, nighttime, indoors, tropical beaches, or snowy mountain views (if you happen to visit one).

The Ricoh Theta Z1 can also shoot 360-degree videos in 4K (3840×1920 pixels) and 30 frames per second (fps), all thanks to its 3-axis rotational stabilization to compensate for rotational shake.

It has a 0.93-inch organic EL monitor and a Function (Fn) button. While that may be a small screen, the Ricoh Theta Z1 managed to cram in information such as the number of possible shots, exposure settings, and more.

This Ricoh 360 degree camera also supports Adobe® DNG format (RAW), which is great for video editing. Here’s the rest of the features:

  •  Shutter speed of up to 1/25000 seconds.
  • THETA+ application can edit still images and export image data files for printing.
  • Dual communication using Bluetooth® and wireless LAN.
  • Easy wireless connection from the essential app for smartphones.
