Huawei isn’t just known for their modems and smartphones. They also have wearable devices.
Now, wearables are pretty great devices. They can track your health, tell you who’s calling and more.
Huawei’s TalkBand B2 is one such device. It combines the convenience of a Bluetooth earpiece with the functionality of a fitness tracker.
The TalkBand B2 vibrates to notify users of an incoming call and shows the name/number of the caller on the screen. If you need to answer it, just detach the earpiece to answer the call.
It’s got a dual micrphone, noise reduction technology, and you can pair it up with two smartphones. It’s equipped with smart detection to understand whether the Bluetooth earpiece is on the wristband or not. This will allow it to automatically push audio (music/call) to the smartphone or B2 bracelet.

The TalkBand B2 can last up to five days, and support continuous call time up to six hours, and 12 days’ standby time.
And if you misplaced your smartphone, you can use the B2 to locate it; provided that you paired it beforehand.
Now as for health tracking, this Huawei wearable device has a 6-axis motion sensor. It can automatically detect different activities such as walking, running cycling or climbing/hiking. Just like any great wearable device, it can calculate the amount of calories burned by different activities. This is really useful for planning your workouts and diet at the gym or at home.
And here’s another great thing about the TalkBand B2: it will also detect the duration of deep sleep and light sleep. It will then, provide you with health tips on how to improve your sleeping patterns.
The TalkBand B2 sports a 0.73-inch, 128 x 88 pixel, mono PMOLED touchscreen. Users need only to sweep their finger to cycle through the various modes such as the time/date, steps taken, sleep time, and calories burned.
And it’s pretty durable. It has a metal bracket made out of high strength, light weight aviation aluminum. It’ll last you a long time unless you pound it with a sledge hammer.
The Huawei TalkBand B2 Sport Edition comes in black and white priced at Php 6990 while the Gold TalkBand B2 Executive Edition is priced Php 7990. It’s already available in retails shops that sell Huawei devices.
