LG Electronics has launched LG WashTower™ — a sleek-looking, single-unit laundry solution that takes up half the floor space but still able to handle large loads. The LG WashTower will allow consumers to reinvent their laundry room design, or place it conveniently in the designated areas easily. It has all the smart and intelligent, convenient controls and advanced cleaning capabilities.
The WashTower offers a full-size dryer above a full-size front-load washer that will handle large capacity loads with advanced washing in under 30 minutes. It has LG’s exclusive Center Control™ panel, conveniently placed in the middle of the unit and displays both washer and dryer controls so it’s easy to reach.

Models will feature premium black steel finish, chrome rim and control knob accents (models WKGX201HBA, WKEX200HBA) and LG built its scratch-resistant tempered glass doors for the long haul. The Center Control also makes WashTower’s height profile 3.4 inches shorter than the brand’s traditional stacked pairs so it can fit into even more places.
Built-in Intelligence is good
LG WashTower also has built-in intelligence to take out the guesswork, using sensors to detect fabric texture and load size. It automatically selects the right wash motions, temperatures, and more for precision fabric care.
LG WashTower™ has built-in intelligence and the Thin Q app to help you maximize the washing machine and dryer.
Activate the LG ThinQ® app so it will learn your preferred settings, your ideal wash temperature, spin speed or dry level. With Smart Pairing™, the washer can even tell the dryer the right compatible drying cycle.
Faster is always good
The WashTower’s LG TurboWash™ 360° will allow consumers to put in larger laundry loads but do it in less time — thanks to five jets with variable sprays that deliver a complete clean in under 30 minutes. It has 4.5 cubic feet in the washer and 7.4 cubic feet in the dryer. It fits big loads of towels, jeans, or a king-size comforter, for potentially, big time-savings every week.
An achoo-less experience
LG washers are the industry’s first to be CERTIFIED asthma & allergy friendly® by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America. The Allergiene™ wash cycle goes beyond everyday cleaning, using the gentle power of steam to remove common household allergens in fabrics by more than 95%. Also, LG TurboSteam™ technology in the dryer helps sanitize and refresh clothes in between washes as well as children’s toys, decorative pillows and more.
Tips and support included
LG will also provide LG Proactive Customer Care. The industry-first personalized customer support tool provides customized maintenance tips, monthly usage reports to keep appliances performing their best, and alerts that warn of potential issues before they arise – at no additional cost. Plus, the LG ThinQ app enables users to start or stop the laundry while out of the house, check remaining cycle time, or get notifications directly on your smartphone.
It’s also energy efficient as the LG WashTower has ENERGY STAR certified washers and dryers that use 25 % less energy and 33% less water than traditional models.
