We’re back to scout for new Kickstarter projects that the SmartHomes Now staff are excited to get. This time it’s the Beyou transforming chair and the UVMask.
The Beyou Transforming Chair lets you sit in 10 different ways.
It looks pretty much like your swivel chair with armrests. The difference is that the backrest or wing can change into an additional leg rest and, the armrests can unfold into more chair or leg rests.
You can set the wings in 5 positions, and you can configure it to support your knees or as a spot to put up your feet, or even as yoga blocks.
The backrest can even double as a table. How great is that?

The Beyou makers say that it’s easy to adjust, and you can do it even when you’re sitting down on it. Put them up, open them flat, or anything in between.
The Beyou has custom-built quick release hinges letting you transform the chair in a matter of seconds.

Now, if you’re looking for a mask to protect yourself from COVID 19 and other airborne pathogens, then the UVMask is the one you need.
The UVMask is a reusable, ozone-free mask with an active UV-C filter that fully inactivates pathogens, smoke, pollution, and allergens.
Under the UVMask is a passive air filter, and a patent-pending Sterile-Vortex active purification filters the air in real-time providing all-day, 8-hour protection.
According to its makers, they’ve managed to put in a 265nm pure UV-C LEDs in the Sterile-Vortex that’s supposed to be ozone free, safe, and durable.
The UV-C light is within the Sterile-Vortex, which means no UV-C leakage is made possible during the filtration process.
As you breathe, the air is sent through the vortex and purified under two 25,000μW/cm² UV-C LEDs connected by a quartz chamber wall.
All that purification tech means you’ll have two high-efficiency layers of protection. Beyond purifying, the UVMask cool mask filters the air from dust, pollen, tobacco, bushfire smoke, and air pollutants.
